This is a place for me and those in my house to place links which we think are notable places to go, mostly dealing with D/s.
Books
- Erotic Slavehood: a Miss Abernathy Omnibus
- I absolutely love this book. It used to be 2 different books, but they combined it into one in 2007. The first book deals with theory. It's all about the idea of training a service oriented submissive. The second portion is a workbook with 50 lessons. The lessons go over many of the finer points of specific types of service, list recommended reading, and give excercises that are designed to improve that specific skill. There is a lot on observing people to know what they want before they know they want to say something.
- Protocols: Handbook for the female slave
- This is one I haven't read yet, but I seriously plan to soon. Probably as soon as I move. There is a great deal in this book on high protocol and how a submissive should prepare for a formal high protocol dinner. I'm surprised I'd overlooked this book the few first times I'd seen it.
- Screw the roses, send me the thorns
- Lots of people consider this the SM bible. Its a lot of SM info. It goes pretty indepth into relationship and the tools of the trade, but only touches on the D/s aspects and no real info on protocols and training.
- Better Built Bondage Book
- This is a book on making toys and equipment, complete with all the professional touches. I love it even though I'm not handy enough and Idon't have enough room to make most of the neatest stuff.
Websites
- Iron Rose
- Iron Rose has a pretty good library where they've kept various articles and discussions about D/s and SM
- Training procedures from the iron rose library
- I know I just put iron rose above this, but this is a very good article with tips on what submissives can work on with a trainer to become closer to what people think of as a gracefull and attentive service oriented submissive.
- B.e.s.t. slave training
- One persons views on training slaves. I've not actually read this through since its not the most readable work, but I'm curious about it.
