House Natasha

This weekend hasn’t been very productive for me. I’ve done a little bit of reading and study for work, but mostly I just spent time in SL hanging out and having a pretty good time. I had wonderful intentions about getting things done this weekend, and now I feel a bit down that I fell way short.

Last night I didn’t sleep so well. I went to bed late, around 2:30am if I remember correctly. I tried to sleep, but it just seemed that I tossed and turned. If I did sleep at all, it was only for a few minutes at a time. Around 4am I decided to get back up.

Ami has been into the 7 Seas Fishing game for some time now, and at 4 in the morning, with no one actively around, I decided that I might give it a shot to pass the time and maybe have a little fun. An influence in this decision has to be the fact that you can, upon reaching a certain level, actually catch a “LOL Catfish.” For any reading this who don’t know about lolcats I refer you here: www.icanhazcheezburger.com. It’s pretty much one of my favorite websites recently. Anyway, so you can get a “LOL Catfish,” and I became a bit obsessed with getting one. Finally I decided that at 7:30am, I should go to bed.

So what did I do today? I woke up at about 1:25pm, and rushed to get into SL for J’s class. After J’s class, I fished. I fished for like 5 or 6 hours! I did do some chatting with people, but primarily I fished. I still haven’t got my “LOL Catfish,” but I did finally get to the level of experience you need in order to get one. Maybe next weekend, when I have the time I’ll actually manage to find one. Or, I’ll manage to follow through with my grand intentions.

On another note, I’m finding myself more and more easily frustrated with my roomie. She was gone all weekend long. We did talk a few times on the phone but she wanted to talk longer than I did, and I’d say that of the several conversations we had, the majority of them ended in a not so great tone. When she came home tonight, she wanted to hang out together. Several times we got into mini arguments about really silly things.

I care about her, and it makes me feel bad, cause I think that often it’s my doing. I’ll have to work on that. Right now though, I need to work on getting some sleep.

UPDATE: (12:25am) I finally caught the LOL Catfish. Maybe now I can sleep (relieved sigh):)
